EAL access control landed at Groningen Airport Eelde!

In addition to other airports and pursuant to a careful selection procedure, Groningen Airport Eelde has also opted for the EAL ATS access control system.

The EAL solution will be implemented as a replacement for the current system. After reviewing the possibilities, sufficient starting points for the realisation of the project were found. Examples of these are the re-use of existing infrastructure, the approach and implementation of a new card technology and the conversion of the system by which the users are inconvenienced as little as possible. All this in cooperation with one of our partners in the north of the Netherlands, Wardenburg Security.

Fitting take-off (and landing)!

Given the geographical location of Apeldoorn next to Teuge airport, starting this project by means of a fitting kick-off was simple. The EAL project team combined the first trip with a "trial flying lesson" using a relatively very environmentally friendly Cessna for the trip to Groningen Airport Eelde.
